Braunkohle 40 bis 120 Meter unter der Oberfl\u00e4che als Energiequelle zu gewinnen, vernichtet Lebensraum und erschafft skurile Landmasse &#8211; Abraum, Krater, Mondlandschaft. Ein Schlachtfeld des Menschen gegen die Natur und damit auch gegen sich selbst. Es sind vernarbte Gebirge, undurchschrittene Weiten, die der Fotograf in seiner Serie 2016 fasst. Die Bilder dokumentieren ein beinahe vergessenes, entfremdetes Gebiet von erstaunlichen Dimensionen, in dem allein die Kohle- und Abraumbagger wie urzeitliche Giganten herrschen. Dabei f\u00f6rdern die Fotografien eine unerwartete \u00c4sthetik zutage, die zugleich Vergangenheit und Zukunft heraufbeschw\u00f6rt. <\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<style
